The Gun Buyback Program had a record number of 2,000 guns turned in. The annual Gun Buyback program ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday in Wilmington at the Park & Ride Parking Lot, as well as other location in Los Angeles. Residents had the ability to turn in guns anonymously with no questions asked. Residents received $200 for turning in assault weapons and $100 for handguns, shotguns and rifles.
