Wienerschnitzel is a fast food chain founded in 1961 by John Galardi. The first Wienerschnitzel, in our very own Wilmington, is still open and operating. The LA times mentioned Wienerschnitzel, Pinks, Cupids, and others as examples of L.A.’s love for hot dogs. But they failed to mention my favorite hot dog: The Costco Hot Dog! Don’t get me wrong, having this historic hot dog stand in the neighborhood is great. And it has a pretty awesome review on Yelp. But one can’t really beat the price of a Costco hot dog. I mean $1.50 for a hot dog and soda! There’s even a facebook group.
